Cameroon has launched its 2026 bid round, offering six exploration blocks across three sedimentary basins: Rio del Rey, Douala/Kribi-Campo and Logone Birni.
Pierre Eric Nkoa Nkoa, Deputy Exploration Manager at Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH), presented the round at the African Farmout Forum during African Energy Week in Cape Town.
All six blocks have 2D seismic coverage.
SNH is accepting bids until 28 May 2027, with results expected in June 2027.
