Rawabi Vallianz Offshore Services (RVOS) has taken delivery of Rawabi 73, a 70-metre anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) built by Premier Marine Shipyards in Dubai.
Designed for demanding offshore operations in the Persian Gulf, the DP2 vessel delivers a 120-tonne bollard pull and can accommodate up to 50 personnel.
Rawabi 73 is configured as a multi-role offshore support vessel capable of anchor handling, towing, supply operations, firefighting, marine rescue, standby duties and subsea support.
Its capabilities are intended to cover both conventional oil and gas activities and emerging offshore renewable-energy projects.
The vessel measures 70 metres in length, with a 17.2-metre beam, a 1,885-tonne deadweight and approximately 4,796 tonnes of displacement.
Following 15 months of outfitting in Dubai, Rawabi 73 has crossed the Gulf and arrived at Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, where it will support offshore operations.
