North Sea Offshore (NSO) has been awarded the Living Quarters detailed engineering package for QatarEnergy’s Bul Hanine (PS-3) Life Extension Project, EPIC-1, Platform PS3L, under COOEC as EPC contractor.

Living Quarters designed for the Gulf’s high heat and humidity loads, corrosive marine atmosphere, and the life-safety requirements of housing 135 people to IMO, SOLAS, and QatarEnergy Standard and built to withstand harsh offshore conditions without sacrificing the comfort and livability that keep a crew functioning over a multi-week rotation.
NSO’s engineering team spans Yantai and Singapore, working alongside Markhus, the Norwegian LQ engineering partner, whose accommodation work traces back to major platforms including Ekofisk, Troll, Oseberg, and Snorre.
This is the kind of project NSO was built to deliver: full-discipline engineering that gives international owners and EPCs direct access to China’s mature supply chain and execution capability.
