Ventura Offshore has agreed to provide marketing and operational management services for the 12,000-foot drillship Deep Value Driller, owned by Eldorado Drilling.

The company has also secured a one-well contract for the drillship in Indonesia.
The agreement follows the confirmation by the CEO of Ventura Offshore in late August that the company had signed a marketing and management services contract with Eldorado Drilling for the drillship Deep Value Driller.
Ventura Offshore also manages and markets the Atlantic Zonda drillship offshore Brazil for Eldorado Drilling, and this agreement expands Ventura’s managed fleet.
The Deep Value Driller drillship had been bareboat chartered to Saipem since 2023. It was expected that Saipem would redeliver the rig to Deep Value Driller AS between 17 and 18 August.
The sale of the rig from Deep Value Driller AS to Eldorado Drilling is expected to be completed in mid-September. The rig is currently located off Labuan in Malaysia.
Additionally, on 4 September, Ventura Offshore announced that it had signed a contract with Petronas.
The contract is valued at around $58 million, including provisional sums for additional services. Ventura will receive operating fees for this one-well drilling programme in Indonesia.
