Cable Integrity

Deep has been selected to carry out annual offshore cable integrity surveys for TenneT Netherlands between 2026 and 2029.

The surveys will support the safe and reliable operation of existing subsea cable infrastructure by providing insight into seabed conditions and cable integrity and protection.

Deep will use hydrographic and geophysical techniques to determine the level of seabed cover above the cables and identify objects and seabed features that could pose a risk to their integrity. Where required, selected findings will also be visually inspected to provide additional information for assessment.

The resulting data will provide an accurate and up-to-date picture of the condition of their offshore cable infrastructure, supporting TenneT’s ongoing monitoring and maintenance activities, early identification of potential issues, and continued compliance with applicable permit requirements.
