GEOxyz announced the integration of dotOcean NV.
The Belgian software company develops autonomous control systems and situational awareness solutions based on data intelligence for the maritime and defense sectors.
dotOcean becomes a wholly owned subsidiary within GEO Group, continuing to operate under its own brand name.
GEOxyz operates its own fleet and Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), which are already operationally controlled by dotOcean’s software.
Combining GEOxyz’s hands-on offshore field experience with dotOcean’s expertise in robotics and data intelligence gives both companies the acceleration the current market demands.
Through this integration, GEOxyz permanently anchors this critical cloud robotics software within its own organisation, alongside dotOcean’s established network in the defense industry. In these sectors, dotOcean builds upon a strong multi-year track record, including projects within the European Defence Fund (EDF) and multiple international industrial partnerships.
By fully integrating GEOxyz’s operational fleet with dotOcean’s software technology, both companies directly connect software development with real-world offshore execution.
dotOcean will operate as a specialised unit within GEOxyz to further scale applications surrounding USVs and offshore security.
