Processor Modules
Bachmann Electronic is ushering in a new generation, unveiling the third generation of its MX200 processor modules.

These compact modules are especially well suited to control tasks in wind energy, including power management and condition monitoring.
They are built on modern Intel industrial CPUs paired with the VxWorks 7 real-time operating system, ensuring dependable, deterministic performance.
An integrated TPM 2.0 chip delivers a high level of security for the MX series by handling cryptographic processes in isolated hardware, enabling secure key management. The microSD slot not only allows for expanded storage but can also serve as a boot device, adding flexibility for system configuration and maintenance.
Up to two integrated CAN bus interfaces deliver dependable connectivity to industrial fieldbus and control networks.
Fanless by design, the modules are built to withstand extreme operating conditions and perform consistently across a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. Built-in power supply feeds both the control unit and the connected I/O system, allows to build complete base systems in just two module widths.
The result is a space-saving control solution ideally suited to the tight installation spaces typical of ships.
A wide range of communication interfaces – including Ethernet, CAN, and USB 3.0 – ensures fast, reliable data transfer. With up to 4 GB of onboard storage for applications and data, plus an expanded LPDDR4 memory of up to 1 GB, the modules can handle even more demanding applications with ease.
