Enersea engineers offshore to conduct site survey

Replacement Gas Compressor

Enersea is supporting the replacement of a natural gas compressor on an existing North Sea gas production platform.

This will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, boost revenue, and extend the operational lifetime of the asset.

As part of the project, Enersea engineers travelled offshore to conduct a thorough site survey.

During the visit, they evaluated the available plot space, verified the key dimensions, and identified the technical constraints that are critical to the successful integration of the new equipment.

Drawing on insights from the offshore survey and in-depth engineering analysis, Enersea has developed an optimised compressor solution.

The proposed upgrade replaces a high-capacity existing unit with a significantly more efficient system that will reduce energy consumption and emissions while maintaining the required operational performance.

Enersea’s scope covers the concept selection phase, including engineering design and the integration of vendor information for layout optimisation.
