Purchase Agreement
Gode Wind 1, the 330-MW offshore wind farm in the German North Sea, has secured Ørsted as its long-term power off-taker, the Danish energy major said on Thursday.

Ørsted has committed to procuring electricity from the complex under a seven-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
The deal was sealed with the wind farm’s co-owner Nuveen, which is the global asset management arm of TIAA, Equitix and The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd (LON:TRIG).
The 55-turbine Gode Wind 1 park, located about 45 kilometres off the coast of Lower Saxony, has been generating electricity since February 2017.
The plant is part of a larger complex with a capacity of over 800 MW in size that also includes the Gode Wind 2 and 3 plants.
