Oceaneering International has won a contract from Petrobras to provide ROV services off the coast of Brazil.

The four-year contract is expected to begin in 2027.

In addition to carrying out monitoring and positioning support operations offshore Brazil, Oceaneering will supply two work-class ROVs and specialised tooling packages.

The ROV systems will be deployed from the Aker Wayfarer, a subsea engineering support vessel (SESV) owned by AKOFS Offshore and contracted by Petrobras for intervention, installation, and abandonment support.

The project will be executed by Oceaneering’s local team in Brazil.
