UK shipowner Hayfin Capital Management has sold its fleet of 11 anchor-handling supply ships to a new investment company.
At the same time, tycoon Evangelos Marinakis has stepped up his offshore push by completing a deal to buy 50% of Hayfin’s vessel management unit United Offshore Support (UOS) in Germany.
The buyer of the AHTS fleet is described as a new company backed by leading investors in the maritime sector.
