Fallpipe vessel Flintstone: looking as good as new

Rock Installation

After spending time in drydock in Kristiansand (Norway), DEME’s fallpipe vessel Flintstone is getting ready to return to operations, following extensive maintenance and a fresh new coat of paint.

The docking also highlighted the pride Flintstone’s crew takes in their vessel. From helping define the scope of the works to rolling up their sleeves during the execution, they played an active role throughout the docking.

Around ten crew members even took on the deck painting themselves, demonstrating the ownership, dedication, and teamwork that characterize life on board.

This docking was made possible through close collaboration between the crew, shore-based teams, and the team at shipyard GOT in Norway, whose support helped turn extensive preparation into a successful execution.
