LS Marine Solution has officially commenced the construction of its next-generation submarine cable-laying vessel (CLV).
The official steel-cutting ceremony took place at the Tersan Shipyard in Türkiye.
Slated for delivery in the first half of 2028, this state-of-the-art vessel will be South Korea’s largest cable layer, boasting a massive 13,000-ton cable loading capacity customized for long-distance HVDC and utility-scale offshore wind grids.
