EPCIC Contract
Recently, CIMC Raffles signed the contract for the Greater PAJ FPSO EPCIC project.

This project marks the Chinese offshore company has undertaken a full FPSO EPCIC contract, signifying a breakthrough for CIMC Raffles in the international high-end offshore engineering general contracting sector. It further consolidates the company’s competitiveness and industry influence in the global FPSO market.
The project FID (Final Investment Decision) and signing ceremony were held on 22 June 2026 in Luanda, Angola, with the participation of Azule Energy, project equity stakeholders, ANPG, and relevant contracting parties.
The Greater PAJ project aims at exploiting 5 fields (Palas, Astraea Central, Juno, Dione and Urano). The five fields sit in Block 31 & 31/21, 200 km offshore Angola in 1500-2000m of water depth.
The Greater PAJ FPSO will undertake the functions of oil and gas reception, processing, storage, and offloading. Once ready for operation, the Greater PAJ FPSO will have a production capacity of up to 95,000 barrels of oil per day.
Under this contract, CIMC Raffles will undertake the general contracting scope for the Greater PAJ FPSO, covering the entire workflow, including FEED, basic and detailed design, procurement of materials and equipment, construction, towage, and offshore installation and commissioning for the overall FPSO.
