Skyborn appoints Klingele as COO

Skyborn Renewables has appointed Michael Klingele as chief operating officer, succeeding Thomas Karst from 1 July 2026.

Skyborn said Klingele brings more than 30 years of experience in offshore wind and large-scale infrastructure across Europe and Asia.

The company added that he will help advance its strategy of standardisation and establish a repeatable approach to project delivery across its global portfolio.

Klingele has held senior leadership and board roles and led the turnaround of the Formosa 2 offshore wind project in Taiwan.
