Beach Management
Boskalis Westminster has been awarded a framework agreement for beach management across England.
Under this agreement with the Environment Agency, the joint venture will focus on beach management, coastal protection, and flood-risk reduction for the next six years.
The framework is a key part of the Environment Agency’s long-term plan to protect England’s coast from the increasing effects of climate change, sea-level rise, and extreme weather.
Over the past century, Boskalis Westminster has completed numerous coastal protection projects across the United Kingdom, playing a vital role in shielding homes, businesses, transportation links, and essential infrastructure in some of the country’s most vulnerable coastal areas.
