Vår Energi has awarded Subsea7 an EPCI contract for the Goliat Gas Export Project in the Barents Sea.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of a 12.7km pipeline together with associated subsea infrastructure.

The development is part of a broader strategy to strengthen gas export infrastructure in the region, connecting the Goliat field to the existing Snøhvit system and Hammerfest LNG facilities. It also marks the first project awarded under the strategic collaboration between Vår Energi, Subsea7 and OneSubsea.

For Vår Energi, it’s about maximising long-term production efficiency and building on existing offshore infrastructure.
