General – Newbuilding

PaxOcean is proud to have reached another key milestone in its partnership with Penta-Ocean Construction by laying the keel of the Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) G8075 at our Batam yard ahead of schedule.

This moment signifies the formal commencement of hull assembly for a vessel that will support Japan’s rapidly expanding offshore wind industry.

Designed for global operations and built to the highest industry standards, the CLV will feature advanced capabilities, including a ClassNK DPS2 dynamic positioning system, as well as energy-efficient solutions such as methanol-fuel-ready configuration and an energy storage system (ESS).
