Wind Energy – Vietnam

Envision Energy has completed the rollout of the first EN-226/8.X MW offshore wind turbine for the 128 MW nearshore wind project in Vinh Long Province, Vietnam.

The milestone follows the project agreement signed with REE Corporation in January and marks the start of equipment delivery.

The turbines are scheduled to be shipped in May, with full project commissioning targeted for the end of October 2026.

Once operational, the project is expected to be among the largest nearshore wind clusters in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in terms of unit capacity.

Following this first unit rollout, the project has entered batch delivery. A total of 16 turbines are expected to be assembled and shipped within the next two months.
