General – MoU

Angola’s National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) and Woodside Energy have signed an MoU to cooperate in the assessment of offshore hydrocarbon prospects in Angola.

The agreement covers blocks 25, 26, and 43. It establishes an initial study period to identify potential investment opportunities, laying the groundwork for collaboration on the analysis of geological and geophysical data, including 2D and 3D seismic well reports, as well as other technical information.

The MoU was signed by ANPG chairperson Paulino Jerónimo and Woodside Energy vice-president of exploration Terry Gebhardt as part of the agency’s efforts to promote investment and exploration and development of oil and gas resources.
