Wind Energy – Korea

Haesong Offshore Wind Co has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Doosan Enerbility to strengthen localization of Korea’s offshore wind industry.

Through this agreement, the three companies will jointly explore strategic cooperation across technology, commercial, and procurement areas for the Haesong Offshore Wind 1·3 Projects.

By combining Siemens Gamesa’s global turbine expertise with Doosan’s manufacturing capabilities, the partnership aims to present a practical localization model and revitalize Korea’s offshore wind ecosystem.

Going forward, Haesong Offshore Wind will continue to leverage its strengths in combination with domestic supply chain companies to develop a sustainable offshore wind model that grows in tandem with local communities.
