General – Inauguration

Last week, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners officially inaugurated its new Southeast Asia regional office in Kuala Lumpur.

The opening programme featured keynote remarks by H.E. Kirstine Vangkilde Berner, Denmark’s Ambassador to Malaysia, and a representative from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), followed by a formal opening ceremony.

In his opening speech, Managing Director Przemek Lupa underlined the significance of the Kuala Lumpur office for CIP’s engagement in South East Asia.

He highlighted the region’s rapid growth, rising energy demand, and the need for large-scale, sustainable energy infrastructure, noting that CIP is actively developing projects across offshore and onshore wind, solar, and energy storage in several Southeast Asian markets.
