Azule Energy establishes Namibia office

Wednesday, April 22 2026

General – Namibia

Azule Energy has formalised its in-country presence with the registration of a Namibia branch office and the appointment of Giovanni Aquilina as the company’s inaugural Country General Manager.

Aquilina will be based in Namibia and will lead Azule’s in-country operations, stakeholder engagement and local development agenda.

His appointment establishes, for the first time, a permanent senior Azule presence on Namibian soil – a structure designed to support deeper, more consistent engagement with the Namibian authorities, partners, and the broader community of Namibian industry and government stakeholders.

“We are here to work with Namibian authorities and partners, sharing our expertise and learning with all those that already based in Namibia. Giovanni’s appointment is our clearest statement yet that we mean it,” said Joe Murphy, Chief Executive Officer, Azule Energy.
