Agreement between AF Gruppen and Acteon

Thursday, April 16 2026

General – Agreement

AF Gruppen has signed an agreement with Acteon to acquire Claxton Engineering Services and Probe Manufacturing and Fabrication.

The transaction is subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority and, if approved, is expected to complete during the second quarter of 2026.

This proposed divestment is consistent with Acteon’s strategy to further focus our service portfolio in support of our customers across a dynamic offshore energy market.

Claxton and Probe have been important parts of Acteon for many years.

Acteon will continue to work closely with all stakeholders as the process moves toward completion.
