Fossil Energy – Gas Exploration

The Dutch government has granted Petrogas E&P a licence to drill an exploration well (B16-NE) in Block B16 using a mobile drilling rig.

Block B16 is located in the northernmost part of the Dutch North Sea, around 230 kilometres north-west of Den Helder.

This drilling operation is intended to investigate the potential for gas extraction in an area where Petrogas is already active.

The licence is available for inspection until 15 May.
