General – Renewable Energy

Recently, TotalEnergies and Masdar (the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) demonstrated their commitment by establishing a $2.2 billion joint venture to develop a renewable energy leader across nine rapidly growing Asian markets.

This venture combines 3 GW of operational capacity with 6 GW in the advanced development stage.

Both companies are combining their strengths to accelerate renewable energy deployment in Asia. As the region will drive global electricity demand growth this decade, meeting this challenge requires scale and strong partnerships.

This partnership reflects a shared long‑term vision: delivering competitive, reliable, and low‑carbon electricity at scale, while strengthening the deep ties between TotalEnergies and the United Arab Emirates.
