Wind Energy – Hornsea 3
Cadeler has successfully completed the mock‑up trials for the secondary steel installation and commissioning activities at the Port of Tyne in the north‑east of England.
Supported by IQIP and several project partners, the trials mark an important milestone ahead of offshore construction at Ørsted’s Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm.
With the completion of these tests, all components and equipment designed and built over the past year have been validated to perform exactly as intended. This ensures a safe and efficient start to offshore installation later this year.
