OW Ocean Winds reports that half of the 62 jacket foundations have now been installed by DEME Offshore’s jack-up Innovation at the 500MW Dieppe-Le-Tréport project in France.

Since February, 20 new foundations have been added to the dozen already installed 17 kilometres offshore.

Installation works have been progressing steadily offshore, reflecting the strong coordination between project teams and supply chain from manufacturing to installation alongside industrial partners Navantia Seanergies, Windar Renovables, PORT DE CHERBOURG, and DEME Group.

Once operational, the project will generate enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of around 850,000 people every year contributing to France’s energy transition.
