Fossil Energy – Cooperation Agreement

A subsidiary of the Tianjin-based BOMESC Offshore Engineering has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with SBM Offshore, a Dutch floater expert.

The agreement, which was signed by Tianjin BOMCO Marine Engineering and the Swiss SBM subsidiary Single Buoy Moorings Inc., encompasses the fabrication, integration, and associated construction services for topside modules of FPSO units.

In accordance with the framework, the two companies will collaborate during the planning, development, and bidding phases of FPSO projects, as well as related ancillary activities. This collaboration aims to identify global market opportunities and improve overall project competitiveness.

The two parties are also planning to undertake a joint feasibility assessment of expansion opportunities in the areas of engineering design and EPC.

The agreement will be in effect for a period of three years, with the option to extend or terminate by mutual agreement.
