Aventus delivers turnkey foundation completion works for Inch Cape

Monday, March 16 2026

Wind Energy – Inch Cape

Aventus Energy, which is based in Aberdeen, has been awarded a major contract by Inch Cape Offshore.

The contract is for the delivery of foundation completion activities on Inch Cape Offshore’s 1.1 gigawatt offshore wind farm, which is located off the Angus coast.

The contract, which represents Aventus’ single biggest individual contract to date – with value running into the multiple millions – will be delivered at Edinburgh’s Port of Leith in collaboration with fellow Global group companies Global Port Services and Global Crane Services, and port owner Forth Ports.

The year-long scope of works, which has recently commenced, will see Aventus Energy receive and inspect the Inch Cape wind farm’s monopiles, transition pieces and jacket foundations as they arrive in port.

The company will then carry out several critical activities to ensure that the components are ready for offshore installation and operational readiness.

The contract also involves project management, including planning, documentation, survey, quality, and technical verification.
