General – Newbuilding
On March 11 VARD celebrated the naming ceremony for the Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) NB 982 Norwind Maestro for Norwind Offshore and Navigare Capital Partners.
The ceremony took place in Emden, Germany. The vessel’s godmother was Henriette Obel.
Norwind Maestro was delivered on 15 January from Vard Søviknes before going straight into operation.
The vessel immediately commenced its 10-year contract at the Global Tech 1 Offshore Wind Farm, supporting operations.
