Wind Energy – Appointment
Ørsted appointed David Taeseung Yoo as South Korea Country Manager.
Korea is now entering a decisive stage in its own energy transition, where progress will depend not only on technology and investment, but also on alignment between policy, industry, local communities, and maritime stakeholders.
Over the past decades, David worked alongside many dedicated colleagues across government, industry, academia, and local communities during the early formation of Korea’s offshore wind sector.
These experiences have taught him that offshore wind projects are not only engineering undertakings offshore, but long-term partnerships onshore built on trust, transparency, and continuity.
A first priority will be the responsible advancement of the Incheon offshore wind projects.
