General – Indonesia

Equinox Nusantara Ventures (PTENV) has won the operations and maintenance (O&M) contract for Indonesia’s first floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project.

PTENV is an Indonesian joint venture between compatriot Perusahaan Pelayaran Equinox and Malaysia’s FPSO Ventures.

The first FLNG facility in the republic will exploit the Asap, Merah, and Kido discoveries on the Kasuri block in West Papua province.

The FLNG vessel with a nameplate liquefaction capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum is being fabricated by Wison New Energies in China.

PTENV’s long-term contract encompasses operations and maintenance, including mooring systems, classification compliance, and technical support for the FLNG unit named Alam Guyub.
