Scarborough’s FPU arrives Down Under

The Scarborough Energy Project achieved a major milestone to begin 2026 with the arrival of the floating production unit (FPU) at the Scarborough field.

The approximately 70,000 tonne FPU was towed from China to Australia and covered over 4,000 nautical miles.

The next phase of the project will see work begin on the hook-up of the subsea infrastructure ahead of commissioning and production.
