Fossil Energy – EPC Contract

OceanMight has been awarded a contract by Petronas Carigali, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s energy giant Petronas, to provide minor engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a fixed offshore structure and host tie-in at Erb West as part of the Belud South greenfield development project.

The company claims that a formal agreement for the contract will be executed in due course. This deal, which is worth approximately RM 212 million ($53 million), is expected to be completed within 13 months from January 15, 2026.

The assignment comes shortly after Petronas added more work to Vantris’ existing transport and installation contracts for offshore facilities at the Sepat integrated redevelopment project and the Belud South greenfield development project.

While work on both is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2026, Belud South scope is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2027 and the Sepat segment by the third quarter of 2029.
