Fossil Energy – Drilling

On 7 January, following the successful completion of endurance testing, Dixstone’s new offshore drilling rig, HARIMA, spudded its first well on the Emeraude AA platform, offshore the Republic of Congo.

HARIMA is the latest addition to the Dixstone drilling fleet and is a compact hydraulic modular rig integrated on a self-propelled marine jack-up tender barge.

Designed as a fit-for-purpose solution, the system is connected to the field power grid, helping to reduce emissions while simplifying project logistics.
