Fossil Energy – Malaysia

Vantris Energy has secured contracts worth about RM1.4 billion from Petronas Carigali for offshore transportation and installation works under two upstream development projects in Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Vantris said its unit, Sapura Offshore, was awarded the contracts under an existing framework agreement for the provision of transportation and installation (T&I) of offshore facilities.

The work orders cover the Sepat Integrated Redevelopment Project and the Belud South Greenfield Development Project.

The Sepat project is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed by the third quarter of 2029, while the Belud South project is also slated to start in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027.
