Fossil Energy – On Stream

Chevron has brought on stream its N’dola Sul project offshore Angola.

Located in shallow-water Block 0 offshore Cabinda, the asset has been developed using a 1,700-tonne platform connected to the US major’s upgraded Mafumeira central processing facility about 15 kilometers away.

First oil flowed on Christmas Eve and is expected to peak at 25,000 barrels per day of oil and 50 million cubic feet per day of gas from 12 wells.

Oil is flowing to the Malongo terminal in Cabinda, while associated gas will be sent to the Angola LNG plant in Soyo.
