Export cable order for Hellenic Cables

Wind Energy – BC-Wind Poland

Hellenic Cables has signed a contract with OW Ocean Winds, in consortium with DEME Offshore, for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of the offshore export cable system for the BC-Wind offshore wind farm in Poland.

The project, with an installed capacity of approximately 390 MW, will see the consortium of Hellenic Cables and DEME Offshore supply and install a 275 kV HVAC offshore export cable system.

Cable production will take place at Hellenic Cables’ state-of-the-art submarine cable plant in Corinth, Greece, with completion scheduled for 2027.
