Several parties had shown interest, and ZOSCO was selected based on financial strength, industrial experience, and a long-term commitment to the sector, both companies said in an emailed statement.

The deal, which also includes Rem Stadt and RS Crewing, secures the future of Remøy Shipping after more than a century under family ownership. Founded in 1899, the company has evolved from a fishing operation into a modern offshore service provider with a current fleet of eight PSVs, a naval vessel, and a portfolio of commercial, technical, and crewing services.

ZOSCO, one of the region’s largest offshore services providers, has been supplying Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas sector since 1977. Its fleet has grown to more than 60 offshore vessels, including PSVs, construction units, and diving support assets. and accommodation vessels, many on long-term charter with Saudi Aramco.
