Fossil Energy – Flexible Riser

TechnipFMC has won a contract from Ithaca Energy for flexible riser work on the Captain development in the UK North Sea.

The specific financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, though TechnipFMC said the contract’s value was between $75 million and $250 million.

The company will design, manufacture, and install flexible risers, flowlines, and associated hardware for the project.

The Captain field, located approximately 145 kilometres northeast of Aberdeen, began production in 1997. TechnipFMC said that it had previously worked on the second phase of an enhanced oil recovery project at Captain in 2024.
