The TPs are loaded aboard the COSCO vessel Hua Sheng Long, marking a major project milestone and establishing CWHI as the first supplier from China to deliver fully commissioned Transition Pieces.

Each Transition Piece stands up to 28 metres tall, with an 8.3-metre outer diameter and a weight of approximately 600 MT.

“The successful dispatch of the first 15 Transition Pieces reflects the strength of our yards’ collaboration and the dedication of our teams,” said Dale Young, Chief Development Officer of CWHI. “This milestone signifies not only engineering excellence, but also our shared mission to support the UK’s clean energy transition.”
