Tuesday, November 18 2025

Wind Energy – Jasmund Project

The OSS Jasmund project has reached another major milestone with the successful load out of both the topside and the jacket.

The topside, built at the Stormpolder yard of HSM Offshore Energy, measures 48 meters long, 33 meters wide, and 17.5 meters high, and weighs approximately 4,500 tons.

The impressive 72-metre-high jacket, weighing around 4,500 tons, was manufactured at the Smulders yard in Vlissingen.

The OSS Jasmund is being delivered for 50Hertz by the HSI consortium, consisting of HSM Offshore Energy, Smulders, and Iv.

The consortium is responsible for the full EPCIC scope (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) of the OSS Jasmund topside and associated jacket.
