Haskoning to deliver EIA for Gwynt Glas

Wind Energy – Environmental Impact Assessment

Independent international consultancy Haskoning from the Netherlands will lead the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for one of the world’s largest proposed floating offshore wind installations.

The Gwynt Glas project is expected to contribute up to 1.5 GW of clean energy to the first development round in the Celtic Sea, which is expected to total 4.5 GW.Offshore wind turbine with a clear blue sky

Selected in June as a preferred bidder in Offshore Wind Leasing Round 5, Gwynt Glas is making strong progress with the development phase and has confirmed the appointment of consultants Haskoning to deliver the highly complex EIA and Habitats Regulations Assessment.
