General – Cable Record

Records have been set at Nexans Halden plant in Norway.

Nexans’ vessel Nexans Aurora has recently departed with a record 9,731 tons of cable — the highest load ever in Nexans’ history.

The new record is 256 tons more than the previous milestone from 2023, achieved for the Oseberg Project. This is both a record for Nexans Aurora and for the Nexans Halden plant, marking the largest load ever supplied and loaded on one keel from the plant since its first delivery to Nexans Skagerrak in 1976.
