U-Ming Marine Offshore and Purus have officially launched UPO Holdings.
UPO is a joint venture dedicated to advancing offshore wind operations across Taiwan and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The first two VARD 419 Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs), 88 meters in length, are now under development and purpose-built for Taiwan’s dynamic offshore environment.
Vessel deliveries will begin in 2027, marking the emergence of a new, sustainable offshore service leader for the region.
