Wind Energy – Inch Cape
The third batch of 8 XXL Monopiles has departed from CWHI’s Qinzhou yard aboard COSCO SHIPPING’s Xiang Yunkou.
Together with two previous batches of 16 monopiles – including the first shipment that arrived on schedule at the Forth Ports Limited of Leith and the second due to arrive imminently CWHI (CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries) has now delivered a total of 24 XXL monopiles.
CWHI is fabricating 32 XXL monopiles and 30 transition pieces for this landmark UK project, with the final batch now entering the last stage of production.
