Fossil Energy – Partnership

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi joins forces with PETRONAS and TotalEnergies on the Bobara PSC in Indonesia, offshore West Papua.

Seram Trough and Aru Basin have been explored for some time, but the most significant discoveries so far have mostly been onshore, primarily gas with Tangguh within Berau Gulf/Bintuni Bay, as well as some liquid hydrocarbons on Seram Island (Bula/Oseil).

Bobara PSC covers around 8500 km², with some areas exceeding 3,000 meters in water depth.
