Thursday, October 23 2025

General – FLNG

Eni and its partners have approved the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Coral North FLNG project offshore Mozambique.

Set to begin production in 2028, the project will add 3.6 MTPA of LNG capacity, doubling Mozambique’s output alongside Coral South.

With an expected $6–7 billion investment, Coral North will create jobs, strengthen local industries, and position Mozambique as Africa’s 3rd-largest LNG producer.
