Wind Energy – PPA

The Wei Lan Hai Changhua (WLHC) offshore wind project, in which EDF Power Solutions is the majority shareholder, becomes the first to sign a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Taiwan Smart Electricity & Energy.

The 440 MW WLHC project, awarded in 2022, is one of EDF power solutions’ flagship offshore wind projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

Once completed, the wind farm is expected to produce 1,700 GWh of renewable electricity per year.

The project will contribute to Taiwan’s low-carbon energy transition, including the target of 10.8 GW of installed offshore wind capacity by 2030.
